About

Coach Samuel is an award-winning global inspirational speaker, business consultant, trainer and a renowned life Coach. With over 10 years’ experience in business and financial management, he has worked for different multinational organizations from various parts of the world, including Alliance One International, Imprint U Ltd, Vodafone and Save the Children International among others.

He holds a first class B.COM Degree and the Certified Public Accountants qualification plus Several other trainings including Sustainable Development with Drake University, USA.

Professional Experience

Samuel has had a faster career growth. His current role as Partnership Finance Lead involves taking overall responsibility and strategic leadership in guiding the Partnership finance roles of the Save the Children International’s Uganda office where he also served as finance manager and accountant. Previously, he worked in various finance functions and has had exposure to various accounting systems. Whilst working with Alliance One International and Vodafone Uganda, he was a key tax person and instrumental in installing and reinforcing the SAP financial systems. He also boasts a vast understanding of the NGO accounting Systems as well as the Ugandan Tax Compliance requirements. 

As an Entrepreneur 

Samuel is the founder and CEO of BACS Africa, a training and consultancy firm focused at helping Businesses and Professionals get the best results through maximizing their potential. He is also a co-founder and Director at Achievers Training Consultants, one of the leading Accountancy Professional Training firms in Uganda.

Passion for transforming other people’s lives

He is passionate at helping professionals to earn more and grow their wealth. He runs Business and Career Solution Hub Africa, one of East Africa’s leading personal development mentorship platforms with a membership of professionals from over 37 countries where he coaches and mentors members on life skills, personal finance, career development, business development etc.

Given his thought leadership, he has been featured as a speaker both locally and Internationally with organizations like Rotaract International, the global “Unlock the CPA Exam” Summit in USA, The Leadership Tribe- Nigeria. Inkbled Africa- Nigeria, Cedar International- Uganda, Makerere University Business School, Rotary Uganda etc

Consultancy Experience. 

Samuel also has experience in the area of consultancy and capacity building, he has been a project manager and facilitator on key successful projects like training of finance for non-finance managers course for Total Uganda, Revenue Forecast modeling and roll out for National Water and Sewage Corporation, Culture and strategy training for Barclays Bank Uganda Top management team, Project Manager- Development of Feasibility Study and Business Plan for Busitema University Incubation Center under HEST project on behalf of the Private Sector Foundation Uganda funded by the African Development Bank among other key projects.

Samuel also lectures the CPA qualification of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Uganda and offers accounting related trainings to both individuals and companies. Similar to that, he has supported several SMEs set up robust accounting systems for their business operations through his consultancy work.

He is also a Business coach and Trainer with the Entrepreneurship Institute of Africa on the Cente Ye Kikazi Program an initiative by Finding XY and partners aimed at building capacity of a strong community of entrepreneurs in Africa.

Awards and Honors 

Because of his great work, Samuel has received several awards and recognitions including the Social Impact Award by Inkbled Africa 2020, the 2019 best male employee award recognition for Save the Children Eastern Region, Honorary award by Inkbled Africa, International contributing leader by the Leadership Tribe Community- Nigeria.

Samuel’s success story has also been featured by different publications including with one of Uganda’s leading daily i.e. Daily Monitor Uganda  and the Today’s Accountant Magazine by the Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Personal Life

Samuel is married to Judith Pearl Ibanda an entrepreneur and the proprietor of  Pearl and Terry Kids Store and together they are blessed with one son- John Terry Ibanda.
